BISHOP ARTHUR CLARK
Bishop Arthur Clark is a native of Rich Square, North Carolina. He’s the son of the late Willie Arthur and Annie Mae Clark. Previously married to the Late Elder Flora Clark (until God called her home in July 2019), he is the proud father of their two amazing children, a son, Mr. Warren Lassiter, and daughter Dr. Trenette Clark Goings. The family has been blessed to welcome and expand to include a daughter-in-law, Wendy Lassiter, and a son-in-law, Dr. Randy Goings. Bishop Clark is the grandfather of five.
Bishop Clark was formerly educated in the public school system of Northampton County, NC. His higher educational background includes Business Management studies at Shaw University, Raleigh, NC (Ahoskie CAPE Campus), and religious studies from Eastern Carolina Christian College and Seminary, Weldon, NC. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling and Doctor of Ministry Degree from Grace Bible College & Theological Seminary, Saluda, VA.
In December 1979, Bishop Clark joined New Community Church of God in Rich Square, NC and served under the leadership of Bishop S. D. Willis for 17 years. Serving in this ministry in various capacities (i.e., Elder, church treasurer, choir president, Pastor’s Aide Ministry Vice-Chairman, and deacon) reinforced not only his love for Christ, the Church, and its members, but the mantle of pastoral leadership God had placed on his life.
In January 1997 he founded Mount Sinai Church of God (affectionately known as “The Mount”). Through Bishop Clark’s progressive thinking, approachable spirit, and effective leadership of service, he has epitomized “The Mount” and with God’s direction and distinct vision, he continues to develop an amazing community of worshipers. He is known nationally as an anointed teacher and preacher who communicates the Word of God with precision and is recognized as one who effectively motivate and empower others.
Because of his passion to support pastors and leaders, God called Bishop Clark to structure Holy Saints International Fellowship (HSIF) to establish accountability, unity, and aid in mentoring and coaching pastors and leaders into their divine destiny. Bishop Clark launched ministries in Scotland Neck, NC and Hobgood, NC and has sent out Elders from the “Mount” to Pastor ministries in Roanoke Rapids, NC, Franklin, VA and Memphis, TN. In 2010 Bishop Clark was appointed Overseer by The Board of Pastors of Holy Saints International Fellowship. He was consecrated to the Office of Bishop June 2019.
Bishop Clark is Owner and Manager of Clark’s Rental, Severn, NC. He served as Vice President for Northeast North Carolina Ministers Alliance, and volunteers with the Northampton County Relay for Life Association. His hope is that his service of help will inspire faith-based community leaders to partner with communities and further promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
